Is telehealth effective?

Yes, telehealth is an effective alternative to in-person physical therapy for patients who cannot come into the clinic. Telehealth provides a platform to be evaluated, educated, and to create a custom program without leaving your home. Your physical therapist can tailor an exercise program to your specific home environment and exercise equipment. Also, if there is a challenge to completing an activity used in daily living, your therapist can observe your home environment and educate on possible modifications for your safety and capabilities

Do I need a doctor’s prescription for telehealth?

Depending on your insurance, you may not need a MD prescription and insurance will cover your visits as if you were physically coming in to our clinic. Please see our website for further information on direct access.
